Photo Tip #2: Reflections

The tip is pretty simple: Have fun with reflections.

That's about it! But if I had to add anything, I suppose I would mention that it's good to play around with manual focus. Slight changes in focus on the surface of water will yield many different variations of images.

Michael: Absolutely love these reflections. One of my interests is reflection photos. I have thought about setting up a reflections - only gallery on my website. You have some nice photography here. I moderate the Vermont Photography Forum over on the Scenes Of Vermont site's forums. We would love to have you join us there and in the foliage forum -- which is very active in season.

Hello Andy -
Thanks for the kind note. And I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. As we're quickly approaching fall color season once again I will make it a point to stop by the Vermont Photography Forum, and thanks for the invite!
Best,
Michael Alden
